REPORTER TALKING TO A STUDENT AT EMERSON COLLEGE in BOSTON:

Reporter: People say these encampments and protests are anti- Jewish”

Pro-Palestinian and Pro-Hamas Student answers: “NO! How can the encampments at Universities be anti-Jewish if some of the organizers are Jewish?”

After the Interview:  this is my response to that interview:
Melanie Nathan:  I have researched JVP for years and I say:  Really? That is the answer? Jewish organizers? Chanting for the demise of Jews? really? That student was probably referring to a Jewish Voice for Peace JVP organizer or someone recruited by them or influenced by their recruiting.  THIS IS ANTI-JEWISH. JVP is a smokescreen. They were doing this long before Israel initiated the defensive attacks on Hamas and before the barbaric Hamas attack on OCT 07 .

JVP was designed from the very start of its existence to misrepresent WHO and WHAT they are as part of their method to weaponize Jews against Jews.  And to hide their anti-Jewish agenda behind wanting you to believe they are Jews and hence what they sprout is gospel?  What could be more powerful? They ought to be classified as a HATE GROUP.

ANTI-ZIONISM is their mission, as noted on their website.  That means they are ANTI-JEWISH. One cannot separate the two.

They do not want the State of Israel to exist. They say so! Their website reveals just that.  Yet they do want a Palestinian State. Does THAT sound Jewish to you? At least have the decency to tout Peace for ALL and at least tout a two-state solution.

THAT is why you will see and hear “from the river to the sea” and let’s have an intifada per signs and chants.  You can see the sign in the picture pinned to an Emerson College wall (two above).  This chant calls for the genocide of Jews as asserted in the HAMAS Charter.

You will see Columbia University Students chanting:

“Al-Qassam you make us proud take another settler out” 
“Burn tel Aviv to the Ground” 
“Hamas we love you- we support your rockets too”

The JVP truth cannot be averted and it is supporting the genocide of Jews.

JVP has their hand in these protests and in these chants, and so you have a bunch of duped or ignorant students saying “Oh the Jews organize the protests! Now if THAT  does not serve to reveal JVP’s mission and agenda what will?  AND if that IS NOT their truth then we are dealing with ignorance at its worst because THAT is what they are in effect supporting and encouraging.

Zionism means “Jews right to the Jewish homeland, the home of our Jewish ancestors.” The expelled and forcibly displaced Jews returning to Zion – the land of Israel- as is mandated in the Torah.

Zionism is integral to Judaism. Lest we forget the real need to have our homeland secured:  Living the ongoing threat of expulsions, pogroms, holocausts  and massacres, a reality promised by Palestinian and Hamas/ Hezbollah/ ISIS/ISIL/ Boka Horam and all Jihadists. Everything  JVP says on its webpage indicates that they do not want Israel to exist. Nowhere do they advocate for Israel’s peaceful existence or even co-existence with Palestinians. They advocate “from the river to the sea” . They believe Jews can live without Israel.

The stupidity is palpable that Jews should not have a right to their Homeland, should not live there, and could imagine not having Israel as the imperative safety net for the existence of Jews there and in the Diaspora. There are many Muslim and Islamic countries in the world. Huge, vast and wealthy. There is one tiny Jewish state. When the Jews did not have a state they were massacred. Oct 07 was a cruel and barbaric reminder. Just how important it is to protect the State of Israel.

So I say: Well, tell the dead Pogrom and Holocaust millions that THEY could LIVE without Israel. They will tell you: ‘Look at us! No one in the world could rescue us until six million had been slaughtered.’

JVP has been at the helm of the BDS movement for years and is inserting itself and marketing to all college campuses in the USA, to Jewish students on campuses across America. These students include those who are impressionable, vulnerable and clearly not critical thinkers. It includes LGBTQI+ students who are marginalized at the best of times.

Imagine the power in being able to manipulate a Jewish Gay student, a Jewish Lesbian student or a Jewish Trans student into ditching class, paid by Jewish Parent or Jewish benefactors of the university, only to march behind the Palestinian banner while screaming chants that support the barbaric terrorists. Those who are compelled by their beliefs to toss that very Jewish Gay student, to toss that Jewish Lesbian or to toss that Jewish Trans student off a roof or to stone them to death – as mandated by their Jihadist idealism and religion.

Some may be stupid enough to allow themselves and their identities to be THE USEFUL TOOLS JVP and Hamas know they can be! – Shame! Sad! Unjust! Worse yet, dangerous, as it ignites more and more…. hate always does!

They are marketing to the vulnerable and easily manipulated who think they know it all because JVP said so! This is the way according to  Jewish Voice for Peace! In the meantime more so JEWISH VOICE FOR HATE. Their way has resulted in the mirroring of the very conflict they purport to want to end through calls for  boycotts of Israel. JVP is a purveyor of the BDS movement since its inception. Long before this current call for divestment. This conflict plays right into their missioned agenda. They are opportunistic vultures swooping in on our campuses with outside investment. That investment is not just money but also the insidious psychological war that uses  propaganda, all well rehearsed for a long time.

If you are a parent who cares about your child’s wellbeing and future – please warn your child about JVP. They are the proverbial ‘wolf in sheep’s clothing’  and will USE your child as if Jihadists recruiting martyrs – in their instance martyrs because they are destroying the educational environments for themselves, their fellow Jews and all students, while spreading antisemitism across America.

So when you hear that a Jew is organizing or behind a protest THIS is the true picture!

Now that said I am of the opinion that it is time for Israel to do its part to end this war – as it is clear this is not bringing the remaining hostages home at this point. It is also clear that no one has the stomach for a larger death toll that is impossible to support. So to those Jewish students on campuses who are believing that the war should stop – here is what you can do WITHOUT FOLLOWING JVP:

Do not march behind the Palestinian Flag and banners and chants unless you agree 100% with JVP’s mission which is the eradication of Israel and hence an uncertain future for all Jews. The way things have come down to this moment in time if you march behind a Palestinian flag with the current chants for the demise of Israel you are complicit in the violence in Gaza, Israel and the targeting of Jewish students on American campuses. Already several universities have been forced to close down their campuses to onsite learning. It is because the pro Palestinian voices are more than voices – but promoters of hate that always yields violence.

You can do one of two things and avert the JVP lie that progressive Jewish voices have nowhere to go. If you believe you have no place to go to express your Jewish progressive voice – do not choose one that calls for the demise of Israel, but rather make your own and invite others.

1) March with an Israeli FLAG calling for RETURN OF THE HOSTAGES,  surrender of Hamas, the end of the war and Bibi Netanyahu to resign. All the while supporting Israel and its right to exist; or

2) Find Palestinians to lock arms with you (good luck with that) – while you carry Israeli flags and your cohorts carry Palestinian flags. Ditch the death and genocidal chants, and together start a REAL MOVEMENT for peace – where together you chant: “May the Israelis and Palestinians co-exist as 2 states in PEACE; release the Hostages NOW; cease fire and HAMAS surrender for peace NOW.”  Until then students, JVP and the Palestinian instigators are doing NOTHING but perpetuating the exact climate that brought massacre and war.” Until then – students are complicit in the problem.

Most of all: Read books. Learn and understand the complex nature of that which when over simplified into faux dicta such as occupation, apartheid and genocide, cannot serve the depth of understanding needed to move this needle! Become the critical thinker that your privilege has yet to provide for. Become the critical thinker your  jewish parents or some Jewish philanthropist is actually paying for!

ANTISEMITISM THE CHANTS AT COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY – on and off campus: The student protests are chanting antisemitic slogans:

“Hamas we love you- we support your rockets too”
