And An Ode to Trump’s Disloyalty, By A Jew:

Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office today, while meeting with the President of Romania, Donald Trump was asked about his criticisms of Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, who were barred from entering Israel last week due to their support for the boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) campaign against Israel. Trump responded: “Any Jewish people that vote for a Democrat — I think it shows either a total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty.”

Trump, yet again, reveals his anti-Semitic colors, and no amount of purported ‘Israel loving’ and ‘moving of embassies’ can steer him from the filterless inner lining of his mind! This statement so clearly invokes the anti-Semitic trope of “dual loyalty.”

As Jon Lovett so aptly notes:

Its obnoxious when jews call other Jews “bad Jews”. But what’s the word for it when a non-Jew calls Jews “bad-Jews”. What is that word?

Jewish Democratic groups also condemned the remarks:

“Yet another example of @realDonaldTrump continuing to weaponize and politicize anti-Semitism. At a time when anti-Semitic incidents have increased – due to the president’s emboldening of white nationalism – Trump is repeating an anti-Semitic trope,” tweeted Halie Soifer, the executive director of the Jewish Democratic Council of America. “If this is about Israel, then Trump is repeating a dual loyalty claim, which is a form of anti-Semitism. If this is about Jews being ‘loyal’ to him, then Trump needs a reality check – we live in a democracy and Jewish support for the @GOP has been halved in the past four years.”

From my personal perspective, I am dramatically impacted and horribly offended by Trump’s questioning of my loyalty. His anti-semitism, divisiveness, hatred and outright chutzpah is just sickening!

You may call me disloyal for being a Democrat
HA! The Chutzpah that you Kwetz at me when in the mirror ‘disloyal’ you see…

And from me THE DEMOCRATIC JEW….
Remind the REPUBLICAN thats YOU

At no time did I defecate on my Constitution,
At no time did I deny anyone their First Amendment Rights
At no time did I defy my American values
At no time did I cage children
At no time did I separate OUR families
At no time did I prop up Putin
At no time did I cavort with the Nazis and KKK
At no time did I call them “good people”
At no time did I tickle the scrotum of Jong-un
At no time did I pay to deceive Americans
At no time did I silence THAT porn star
At no time did I threaten freedom of the press
At no time did I ban a religion from entering the U.S.
At no time did I evade taxes
At no time did I mock the disabled among us
At no time did I sham fellow citizens
At no time did I create pretend universities
At no time would I cry “bone spur” – certainly not if called to war
At no time did I allow a Russian invasion to hurt our votes
At no time did I play golf while floods, fires and massacres hurt
At NO TIME did I play golf while gun toting white supremacists murder our kids…
Ho Hum to some…. yet this disloyal list goes on…. and on…and on….

Oh and PS…. as for “lack of knowledge”  I would be willing to challenge Trump first to an IQ test and second to a knowledge on ANY subject test – at a moment’s notice…..
