Following yesterday’s revelations about TRUMP – revealed directly via Trump himself – I do not understand why every single Republican on Planet America has NOT asked Trump to #RESIGN. To my way of thinking he may as well adorn his head with a Nazi headband!
Unlike the leaders calling for the White House to be cleared of merely the Miller, the Gorka, the Bannon et al, this Petition calls for the White House to be cleared of Trump too. He is the White Supremacists’ current supreme leader. If HE doesn’t think he is their leader – they sure do! PLEASE consider SIGNING this Petition on Change.org and pass it along.
PLEASE JOIN ME – I am calling on ALL Republicans, on Ivanka Trump, Speaker Paul Ryan, Senators John McCain, Mitch McConnel, etc.
This past weekend in Charlottesville, hundreds of white supremacists, domestic terrorists, KKK, and Nazis gathered with torches, shouting racial, ethnic and religious epithets about Black and Jewish people, chanting Nazi slurs, waving the Confederate flag and banners emblazoned with giant swastikas. A peaceful protester was murdered. Two brave police officers lost their lives.
Those people with a hateful message were there because Donald Trump gave them license. His campaign enticed them. He validated them, evidenced by his failure to call them out, while falsely equating those who countered them. David Duke the KKK clansman confirmed that they were there for Trump!
A very long 48 hours later, on the 3rd day, and after a national outcry Trump’s handlers wrote a speech for him, where he tried to undo the harm of his first response, but he read it from a teleprompter like a dispassionate petulant child forced unwillingly into something by his parents. He undid that forced speech in less than 12 hours! He showed us that he does not understand the nature of all this – that he must be one of them! The person holding the office of President should know that NOTHING and NO ONE can equate to the KKK and the White Supremacists and the Nazis among us!
Do you agree?
Trump’s leadership has brought well known White Supremacist types / sympathizers into the White House and his administration: Trump, Sebastian Gorka, Katherine Gorka, Stephen Bannon, Stephen Miller, Jeff Sessions, et al…
Until they are ALL gone The WHITE HOUSE is in essence a HATE GROUP.After Today’s debacle where Trump cemented in our history books the reality of what he is – not to mention all the problems he has brought upon us in the past 6 months and before that during his campaign – we must implore upon him to #RESIGN.
It is absolutely incumbent on the Republicans and their leaders to helm this call for his resignation NOW before more people die and more are hurt.
No more time for lip service, nor time to #RESIST . We have done a lot of that.
As a fully unified America, ( without the morally deficit few who roam our streets unabashedly waving their Nazi flags and torches- ) we can stand together against their hate as one America.Unfortunately Trump proved today that he is incapable of unifying us in this effort. So we must unify ourselves through one voice – calling for his #RESIGNATION
WE the people of the United States of America call upon DONALD J. TRUMP to #RESIGN the presidency of our beloved country.
#RESIGN

You may ask why I add VP Mike Pence to this header? Since setting up this Petition, Pence , on South American (foreign) soil announced in a speech that he fully supports Donald Trump’s stance on Charlottesville. He has failed to denounce him. In fact Pence should resign freely and disassociate himself from Trump if he has any eye on a future run for president. IOnstead he too courts the same KKK, NAZI and White Supremacist base that trump does.
Melanie,
Sure thing, Melanie!
Right after you explain your plan to balance the budget, save the Social Security System, save Medicare, and all without just taking my money and simply playing “tax and spend,” Given that I’m a socially liberal, gay Conservative, I’ll be more than happy to re-consider the Democratic Party – along with its plan to close our borders to illegal aliens and enforce our immigration laws – when it has one. No more spending $200,000 to study the mating cycle of clams, no more giving money to the Palestinian Authority to pay the relatives of the “heroes” who murder innocent, unarmed Jews and American tourists in Israel. It will be exciting to finally meld all of my ideologies into one Party.
I’m giddy with excitement.
But I’m not carrying the water of the Party that is bankrupting this nation and has so alienated me with a lack of competent fiscal policies that I simply can’t cross over to them. They seem as worthless as the Republicans who ALSO had no plan to replace the PPACA – even after 7 years of whining.
Vice President Pence has done nothing wrong and mentioning him seems as if you simply want to un-do the previous election. The proposal sounds a lot like the angry Tea Party demonstrators of 2010 who proclaimed that President Obama was “Not Our President.” He was and remained so, for 6 more years. At this point, and without any coherent, progressive agenda, President Trump is headed for a second term. I did not vote for him the first time, and am unlikely to do so, again.
It’s unfortunate, because many of us on the Left and the Right have always wanted to see a non-politician get into office and knock some heads together and make the career politicians actually do their jobs. President Trump has not been that man.
I know Charlottesville, Virginia and have known it for many years as the Regimental home of the Army JAG Corps. Our campus is right next to the University of Virginia Law School, and I often eat lunch at the Quad, when I’m attending the school. It’s a shame to associate that town with evil racists.
But from Berkley to Charlottesville, the Far Left has felt empowered to use physical violence and threats of violence to silence even mainstream conservatives. When the Left is not setting fire to buildings on college campuses, it simply stops its collective ear and shouts “RACISTS” at anyone who believes in cutting spending and balancing the budget. WHY should people like me EVER listen to the din of those people, when what they are saying about US are usually lies? And who knew that all the anti-abortion crowd had to do was to become violent in order to close abortion clinics?
There is no equating the ethics or morality of racists and religious bigots to those protesting against them. However, there was also unprovoked violence by the Far Left or the “Alt-Left” in Charlottesville, and there NO defending that.
The only difference is as follows: there definitely were counter-protesters who wanted to stage non-violent protests in Charlottesville using the Creative Non-violence of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Unfortunately and as usual, anarchists, anti-capitalists and their fellow travelers also showed up, intent on committing violence. They came with baseball bats. One person used an aresol can as a “Flame Thrower,” when he lit the spray on fire and aimed it at the racists. I can legitimately say that these violent counter-protesters were not following the message of protest and opposition to hatred: they WERE the hatred.
By contrast, how can I say that about the racists and religious bigots? Their message was a message of hate. Demonstrators shut down a Charlottesville synagogue, when they surrounded it and chanted to burn it down. Did any of the violent racists and religious bigots get that message wrong? No.
I support removing Confederate flags from public spaces, but I don’t care about Confederate statues. Those statues honor men without honoring the causes, and I know nothing bad about Robert E. Lee’s conduct during the Civil War. It would be far better to take down Sherman’s statues, or to remove the name from Fort Sheridan. General Sheridan was a union General during the Civil War, but is known to me more because he called for the genocide of native American Indians. Both of those men should be forgotten and not honored.

You cover a lot of issues. And I am not sure what you are ultimately trying to convey other than your tussle between being a Republican for its fiscal ideals versus being a Democrat for its social ideals?!/ You are caught between the 2. Its a big discussion for some. However for someone like me – its very easy and very clear. Under no circumstances can I support the Party that invites initiators of hate and violence – of groups founded solely for the ideal of supremacy or purification – To my way of thinking that TRUMPS all else… If course I don’t agree with any form of violence and prefer the Dr. MLK and Gandhi mode of resistance. Far left who show up with violent intent ought to be rejected versus someone who shows up prepared to self defend. That said for me its a very easy choice…. for you clearly not…
