San Francisco Pride is thrilled to announce that Ronnie Spector will be performing on the Main Stage
during the Celebration and Rally in Civic Center Plaza on Sunday, June 25th.
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Ronnie Spector is one of only a few artists in history who have been capable of defining an entire era in pop music: the embodiment of the heart, soul, and passion of female rock and roll in the 1960s. To this day, no one has ever surpassed Ronnie’s powerful trademark vocals, her gutsy attitude, or her innocent but knowing sexuality.
“Ronnie Spector is a legend, and we are incredibly excited to have her perform at this year’s Celebration,” said George F. Ridgely, Jr., SF Pride Executive Director. “Music and art are unifying and liberating forces, and the Celebration at Civic Center continues to be a focal point of Pride weekend in San Francisco.”
Ronnie Spector joins a star-studded lineup on the Main Stage Sunday: pop sensation Betty Who, electro-hip-hop icon Cazwell, club music chanteuse UNIIQU3, are just a few of the exciting acts who will be entertaining the crowds.
Our 2017 Main Stage Speaker Series features two days of community leaders and organizers addressing issues impacting our communities.
San Francisco Pride is committed to supporting local art and as such, Saturday’s entire lineup features performers, speakers, organizations, artists, and promoters exclusively from the Bay Area. Plus, the Main Stage is just one of over twenty entertainment stages and gathering spaces at San Francisco Pride; our Community Stages
are produced by local community partner organizations and groups.
