On June 29, President Obama spoke to youth audiences across Africa in a televised town hall from South Africa.
U.S. Embassy Kampala – We were thrilled that a group of 10 Ugandan youth (pictured here below) joined the President live via satellite from Kampala’s NTV studio.
In his remarks, President Obama said:
“I had a lot of faith in you before I came here. Now I have even more.”
My cousin, Tess Nolizwe Peacock, from Johannesburg, a newly graduated attorney candidate from Johannesburg, was invited and attended the Town Hall meeting held by President Barack Obama in Soweto South Africa and provided these pictures to Oblogdee 2013 ©.
“There was an amazing energy in the room. We adapted old struggle songs and sang shosholoza, and danced while waiting for President Oabama to arrive. He is a brilliant orator and was a very memorable occasion. He did call President Zuma an ‘outstanding leader.'” Noted Tess, Please enjoy these awesome pictures….
