When I became a citizen of the United States of America, I took an oath to protect the constitution. In abiding this oath I proudly plod and stand on the correct side of life, liberty and justice.
My grief and disappointment that America chose to elect Donald Trump and not Kamala Harris will not detract from this path.
As we fought hard to contribute to the election of VP Harris and Gov. Walz, especially through co-founding and co-managing JEWISH WOMEN FOR KAMALA HARRIS, I am grateful for the lessons of these past three months and they have been life-altering. So many loving-smart-soul-rich new people have come into my life who have taught me so much.
Thank you to VP Kamala Harris and Gov Tim Walz for providing an extraordinary rich vision for a new path forward. They have enriched America with grace and fortitude.
The vision for a reform and people serving policy has not been taken away from us. It is more prevalent than ever. It still shines a bright light on its enduring path.
Their leadership has set the stage for the promise of an America that we are obligated to pursue.
I truly believe we will get there.
It is just going to take longer.
We will never give up. I still believe in good over evil. Authenticity over fake. And Ubuntu over selfishness. We will not be defeated. We will win.
