VP Kamala Harris holds Ground Refusing to Call Israel Gaza War a Genocide

U.S. Presidential candidate Kamala Harris was yet again confronted by a heckler at an event at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee,  screaming at her alleging her support of the so called Israeli  “genocide” in Gaza. Kamala Harris has never referred to or agreed that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. She has always responded to these questions or made statements first noting the context that this war began with October 07, which she has explicitly, time after time, described as an horrific massacre by Hamas terrorists, including the rape of women. However right wing and extreme left wing antagonists and media against Harris are spinning this confrontation with false headlines, twisting the fact she refuses to call it a genocide, to seem as if she did.

Kamala Harris has consistently refused to use the term “genocide” by Israel, always noting Israel’s right to defend itself first and foremost. She has then noted that she first insists upon the return of the American and Israeli hostages with a deal that leads to a cease fire.   Here again, at this incident, she held her ground refusing to assert genocide on the part of Israel.

In this video which speaks for itself Harris can be seen to be holding her ground, while the protestor concludes with “you won’t call it a genocide.” That is the correct conclusion. Do not be led by spin.

What is so mind blowing about the exchange is the Jewish press and the FOX news attempt to spin it, suggesting that Kamala Harris appears to be agreeing that this is genocide, which if you look and listen to the video – she has so clearly not done.

Many Jews and others will fall for the spin, and turn this into a lie because they are so desperate to avoid the election of Kamala Harris to the presidency of the United States.

I urge people not to fall for false headlines and purposeful manipulations such as that seen in the article in the Jpost (Jerusalem Post) where the headline reads  “It’s real: Kamala Harris appears to say Israel committing genocide in Gaza”. She does nothing of the sort.

(The false headline and spin can be seen here: https://m.jpost.com/diaspora/article-825264#hd59cf93l17)

She does not say this and to our ear does not even begin to appear to say it when acknowledging it is an issue among people and that the person protesting does have a first amendment right to speak, albeit he should not interrupt her talk. He was led out of the venue to the cheers of the audience.

What is the lesson here? The extreme left and the extreme right are inadvertently in cahoots to do everything in their power to protest or stop Kamala Harris’ presidency. Do not fall for it. Let us show Kamala Harris that we too can stand our ground.
