HIGH HOLIDAY CALL- AUDIO CALL – I thought the call was very good. It actually moved me. VP Harris was very clear in her support of Israel including against Iran, she will never allow Iran to have nuclear weapons, and in her condemnation of antisemitism.
The Vice President spoke specifically to the issue of campus and student antisemitism and explained hate and violence will not be allowed, as a priority, even while navigating freedom of speech.
Knowing VP Kamala Harris as I do from my time in San Francisco leadership, as Vice President of san Francisco Pride, I assert that she keeps her word. She is a person who stays on task and has massive integrity. I trust her now as I did then to ensure the welfare of the jewish people and to defend Israel and its security.
She reminded of the real time defense against the two attacks by Iran, while preferring diplomacy as solutions, her policy is “all options are on the table.”
