Perhaps this can help Jews see the light – that Kamala Harris is indeed best for Jews and Israel, as the Muslim Pro Hamas Group Abandon Harris targets swing states to defeat Harris

There pro-Hamas pro-Palestinian group “Abandon Harris” is now trying to assemble a national protest march to shut down the Presidential debate in Philadelphia. Its worse. Unlike the Uncommitted Movement which seeks compromise with the DNC on Gaza, the Abandon Harris movement believes Kamala Harris and the Democrats must be defeated. The group is campaigning to punish and defeat Kamala Harris in the battleground states, based on their assertions that Israel’s defensive war against Hamas is a genocide supported by Biden Harris and to be supported by Harris in her administration. Vice President Kamala Harris has never called the Gaza war a genocide, and has stood firmly with Israel’s right to defend itself. I am wondering if undecided or anti-Harris Jewish voters, realize that they are holding hands with the Muslim voting block that supports Hamas?
Just when we were thinking the Jewish vote for Harris was being hijacked by the Trump lies that Jews who vote for Harris are insane, or that Trump is best for Jews and Israel, we realize that although many of us have seen and heard the evidence that Harris is better for Israel, this is bolstered now through the lens of American Muslims.
Reporter Ann Garrison interviewed Hassan Abdel Salam, an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Minnesota, and a leader and spokesperson for the group, “Abandon Harris”:
“The last time we spoke to your group, it was still Abandon Biden. When did you change your name to Abandon Harris?”
Salam responded: “Our movement became Abandon Harris on August 19, 2024, a few blocks away from the DNC convention, where we declared in clear terms to the vice president and the Democratic Party that we will never vote for her and we will actively campaign for her defeat on November 5th.”
IS THAT WHAT THE AMERICAN MUSLIMS ARE DOING? So who is better for Israel? Clearly the divided Muslim vote indicates they think HARRIS WALZ is better for Israel!
Garrison prodded further:
“Did you even consider disbanding and supporting Harris?”
Salam responded: “In July, immediately after President Biden dropped out of the race, we reappeared in front of the Supreme Court in Washington, DC demanding that Vice President Harris speak to us, meet with us. We extended our hand, asking what her policy on Gaza was. What was her policy on the genocide? We wanted to know exactly what was in her mind, since she had worked actively with the president since the genocide began. We wanted to hear from her mouth, in front of us, what she would do if she became the president on January 20. The media took our message, our demands for a permanent, unconditional ceasefire and a full arms embargo, and we were met with complete rejection, no comment, no meeting. That’s what led up to our decision that we had no choice but to do what we began in October, that we would denounce the party’s position on genocide and begin a campaign against her, as we did on August 19, 2024, outside of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.”
What is important to note is that at no time has Vice President Harris ever called Israel’s response to OCTOBER 07 and ongoing defense in Gaza a “genocide”. The very premise of any discussion with this group in its support of such false terminology, of terrorism, its extreme demands, in its extortion, was appropriately denied. This may seem like a big duh! But not to those Jews who still believe Harris to be a left wing extremist, or who refuse, for whatever reason, to admit her already proven record on combatting antisemitism and support for Israel.
Listen to the Abandon Harris pro-Hamas Muslims. They prove the opposite. The silence from Harris is telling. The rejection by Harris and the Democratic Party of extremist views, despite political loss, is so clearly evidenced here. Harris Walz will not be swayed from supporting Israel. The Abandon Harris and many other pro Palestinian sectors, cannot handle it. They want Israel destroyed and Harris will not allow it. None of these antics will sway Harris. As for the group or so called movement, let us hope they remain fringe. But that is not for their lack of trying to target swing states and all Americans, even outside their Muslim community. That said let us face facts anyone who swings into this camp, including te left liberals, can only be seen to be abandoning their BLM allies and will go down in history as the new racist homophobe class.
Garrison then followed up with:
“So you’re looking to win a moral victory by helping to cost the Democrats the election?” and Hassan Abdel Salam answered: “Yes, our strategy is to punish the president and the vice president now running at the top of the ticket for the genocide. It should be known in history that people of conscience came out and ensured her defeat. We want to send an undeniable signal to the political class that they can never engage in genocide and win. We’re counting on the people of this country to respond to this moment, this moral urgency, that a genocide is happening, that we are investing billions of dollars in the destruction of an innocent people on the verge of destruction. We told her that we would do this, and that we hope a reckoning will come to the party on November 5th.”
Except they believe their anger and fight against Harris is based on her acknowledging the false notion of genocide. Yet you, the Jews who are abandoning her, even while she stands up to this, are doing so based on what? On the fact that she did not show up to Bibi’s speech in Congress due to what you perceive as a lame previous commitment? That’s it? Or is there anything else as tangible?
Harris met with Netanyahu after his speech at Congress, and has pledged her ongoing support to Israel. She also commiserated with the suffering in the region. She mentioned the hopes for an end to the war, and ultimately a path to a two state solution “as long as Israel’s security is ensured.”
If you join hands with Abandon Harris, effectively you are participating in the Harris defeat based on the fact that she supports Israel? So to all you anti Harris Jews, you are seriously joining hands with this group?
Ironically both those defeat Harris Jews and Muslims are hence tacitly supporting a Trump America that fosters, hand-in-hand, the worst ever era of Antisemitism and Islamophobia? Brothers forever tied through similar affliction.
So to you Jews who are still not supporting Harris, here is what the pro-Hamas Muslims are saying further about her while they actively seek to keep her out of the White House:
Garrison asks: What did you think of Kamala Harris’s acceptance speech?
Hassan Abdel Salam answers: The speech represented to me, a remarkable feat in double speak. She was promising to the American people gifts that we all believe should be part of our nation, health care, forgiveness of student debt, fighting climate change and ending police brutality, but she also promised the military dominance of the State of Israel, promised that she would support, enhance, and maintain that military dominance.
Ann Garrison: What do you say to those who will inevitably say that Trump will be worse for Palestinians?
Salam: That ultimately the act of murder must be punished, that we have no choice at Abandon Harris. We know we’ll have to sacrifice. I myself shut down my laptop during the Republican National Convention because I couldn’t listen to the words of the former president, a despicable candidate.
Salam went on to say that nothing that Harris would do moving forward, even accomplishing a ceasefire would sway their intent to destroy her candidacy. Salam is trying to get TRUMP elected to PUNICH America! He knows the dangers to all Americans. This is what he said:
“We’re campaigning. We’re going out to our community with our flyers and calling all our people to come out and vote. We’re asking them to register. We’re asking imams, community members, priests, religious figures, and leaders in community centers with folks from all different backgrounds, including even folks who might be homeless, to come out and vote. We’re making every effort to make sure they come out and vote before November 5 or on November 5 to ensure Kamala Harris’s defeat. I myself have been personally campaigning across the country, even delivering Friday prayers in mosques in Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, and soon among students at Georgia Tech in Atlanta on September 20.”
Garrison: Will you be endorsing a Third Party candidate?
Salam: The leadership at “Abandon Harris” has been studying the question of endorsements since February, and our leadership are now moving towards an endorsement of a single candidate. It’s extremely likely that we will do so in September. We’re very excited about that.
We wanted to be sure to study who is the candidate with the ballot access to win. And when we say win, we mean Abandon Harris. To win is to punish Kamala Harris, to deliver the swing states away from Kamala Harris by voting for a Third Party candidate.
Ann Garrison: Have you had any contact with CAIR, or with their political wing, CAIR Action, or any other Muslim American groups?
Salam: Absolutely. We’ve been working with leaders across organizations, including CAIR. CAIR cannot endorse a candidate because it is a nonprofit organization, but individuals from CAIR are working with us to advance the message that we must punish the president and now the vice president, that they must be defeated at the ballot box.
When all is said and done, Harris is a staunch supporter of Israel’s right to exist and defend itself. She is also very concerned about the humanity and suffering of the people in Gaza and a long term durable solution.
Listen to the noise and what it means. Have the courage to change your perspective. It is critical for all Jews to work together to counter this pro-Hamas Islamic movement, and its attempt to force America to only serve its interests. Voting against Kamala Harris is to abandon all those critical voting issues for a free and democratic America, a safer globe. Voting against Kamal Harris only serves this Jihadist call for a lopsided faux moral authority that supports terrorists, terrorism, the massacre of innocent hostages, and yes, the ongoing tactical civilian sacrifice of the Palestinian people by Hamas. If you cannot see this – and do this VOTE justice – you are THEM!
UPDATED CAIR REPORTS ON MUSLIM AMERICAN VOTERS:
Our latest survey reveals that American Muslim voters are highly engaged in the upcoming presidential election, open to supporting a diverse range of candidates and political parties, and deeply dissatisfied with the current state of the nation, particularly U.S. support for the war on Gaza. The poll also shows that an unusually high number of American Muslims planning to vote for third party candidates. With over 2.5 million American Muslim voters eligible to turn out in November, including in key swing states, elected officials and political candidates should engage with their Muslim constituents in the coming weeks.”
Presidential Preferences:
- In the August 25-27 poll, 29.4% of Muslim voters expressed support for Kamala Harris, while 29.1% favored Dr. Jill Stein of the Green Party, 4.2% favored Dr. Cornel West of the People’s Party, and less than 1% favored Chase Oliver of the Libertarian Party.
- Former president Donald Trump of the Republican Party garnered 11.2%, with a notable 16.5% of Muslim voters remaining undecided.
