Today was an exciting start to the re-launch of UAFA – Uniting American Families Act; with all that has been written about the separation of couples, American citizens living in exile to be with their loved ones, very few have mentioned our American children who are the most vulnerable their best interests cast aside by the very authorities who purport to be their “upper guarndians.” Imagine being an American child, and unlike children of different-sexy parentsm our American parent cannot petition for your other non American parent to remain in the USA? Its abhorant! Most here in the US have no idea that this is a problem for their fellow citizens, and that it is so prevalent- with 30,000 or more couples impacted by this failure in the immigration system.
